💨 Train Songz at the Grammys

SIERRA HULL IG TAKEOVER
💨 Train Songz at the Grammys

If you weren't scrolling Instagram yesterday — good for you — you missed Sierra Hull take over Train Songz from the Grammys. Her team and I collaborated all day in sharing photos and videos from her Grammys weekend on our Instagram Stories, and we've got one more fun surprise down the line, as well.

This was such a fun opportunity, and I'm grateful to zine sponsor IVPR for making the connection. Sierra is a client of theirs, and they thought she would be excited to collaborate with our niche corner of the bluegrass internet. I loved doing it, and I hope you enjoyed watching along, if you did. If not and you're reading this on February 2nd, some stories should still be alive. After that... they're gone forever! Which is okay, but yet another reason to love print media. I'm hopeful we'll get to feature Sierra in the zine one day, to create something that lasts longer than a social platform or the algorithm wants it to. That is, after all, why we do what we do with our little print media hobby.

Billy Strings — ever heard of him? — walked away with yet another well deserved Grammy in the bluegrass album category for Highway Prayers, after also winning last year with Live Vol. 1, for his third-ever win. Yeah, Billy! Hell of an album, that Highway Prayers.

This is a quicker one today, as I typically write these on Sunday nights, but last night was spent collaborating on Sierra's Train Songz takeover, and I need to start "actual work" in thirty minutes or so. I'll leave you with some great Sierra Hull YouTube links:

hell yeah, brother

Thank you, Sierra!!!
